Sync health shows "Needs attention" — what do I do

What you're seeing

A client or connector on Sync health shows a "Needs attention" badge instead of healthy.

Check these in order

  1. Read the named reason on the badge. Sync health always names the specific cause — a rate limit, a sign-in problem, a sync error, an account that has never synced, stale data, an attribution gap, or unresolved orders. The reason tells you what to do next.
  2. For unresolved orders, select the count to open the order list that could not be attributed at the requested level.
  3. For a stale or errored account, you can start a manual sync for that client or account from the same screen and follow its progress.
  4. Confirm the age band. Data less than six hours old is green. Six to 24 hours is aging/yellow. At 24 hours or more, the API emits a stale_data attention reason. An explicit error can require attention regardless of age.

If none of that helps

If a manual sync does not clear the attention state, contact the team and cite the sync-failures runbook, naming the client and the attention reason shown.
